Hi Aniket,
Tours & Travel industry has immense potential in India and abroad today. So you may switch to this industry. Currently, real estate sector is not doing well. And there is a perception that it will not improve in at least next 2-3 years or so. Therefore, it is safe to switch to another industry now.
Be aware that, whichever field you choose, you will face stiff competition. There is no getting away with it. Also, your role as a telesales executive is non-technical in nature. It sees a high attrition rate every year in every organization. To grow in this field, you must acquire managerial skills and some technical expertise of how professional call centers work. So if you want to build your career in Tele Sales, join professional call centers at least for few years.
Since you are passionate about Tours and Travels, I suggest you join the same industry. You can look for a job in any of the following areas:

  • Hotels, food, and beverage (Restaurants)
  • Airlines and transport that includes couriers and logistics services
  • Arts and culture
  • Outdoor recreation
  • Conferences and conventions (Managing corporate conferences and events)
  • Ecotourism
  • Ancillary services associated with tourism

The main advantage of joining tourism sector is, you will fly to several places and see a lot of things across the world at low (or no) prices. You will acquire knowledge of different cultures that can be helpful in many ways.
The main disadvantage is you will have to work longer hours. You may also have to switch locations at short notice which create challenges in the family, especially after marriage.
Please let me know if you need any other help.
