Hello. To become an Indian Airforce pilot, a person who is doing or has passed 10+2 in mathematics and sciences (like you) must first take the National Defense Academy (NDA) written entrance test. The NDA test is conducted by the UPSC and held twice a year. The age limit to take this test is 19 years, which you are, therefore you should take this test immediately.
After clearing the NDA test, you will have to clear the Services Selection Board (SSB) interview as well as the Pilot Aptitude Battery Test (PABT). To gain admission to the three-year NDA course (Pune), you’ll have to clear a medical test and also meet certain physical parameters (height, weight, fitness etc.).
After passing out from the NDA, all candidates have to graduate from the Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (one-year course). Finally, after completing the academy training, a person will qualify to be a flying officer or pilot.
