Hi, In order to enter the civil aviation sector, you will need to firstly be a graduate from a recognized university.
To become an air-hostess, you will have to possess a diploma in tourism or hotel management. Many recognized institutes offer airhostess training courses. For example, the Frankfinn Institute (All India) offers post-graduate courses like the diploma in Aviation and Hospitality Services and a diploma in Hospitality, Travel, and Customer Service. After graduating, you can apply to airlines.
To become a commercial pilot, persons have to do their 10+2 with physics and mathematics. Persons can also complete a B.Sc. in Aviation for greater scope.
Next, you will have to undergo training required by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). You will need to apply to a recognized pilot training institute for admission by clearing written tests and passing medical exams. The pilot training involves 200 hours of training in flying and other tests. Then you will qualify as a commercial pilot.
