Hi, The following are the choices:
- An M.Sc. in Geology is the most popular option. This is a full-time degree course lasting two years. Subjects taught include physical geology, structural geology, crystallography and mineralogy. Several colleges provide this degree throughout India
- You may also do a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Geography for more skill and learning. This course is typically from one two years and offered again by many universities.
- Other options are the diploma in Remote Sensing and Geo-information Science and the diploma in GIS and Earth Observation. Also, the Geological Survey of India (Training Institute) offers a very useful post-graduate degree course in geological sciences.
All the best.
