Hello Lipi,
I suggest you following in order to become Business Analyst after completing BBA (Marketing) and working in BPO sector:
- Complete your MBA (MBA degree really helps.)
- You should continue working along with your MBA course from Sikkim Manipal University.
Since you have not mentioned the job profile in BPO sector, I may not be able to comment on the same. However you should look for two kind of jobs while persuing MBA:
- Research Analyst – You may join a start up or even work as an intern to get enter the industry. Research Analyst profile will give boos to the prospects of becoming Business Analyst.
- B2B Sales/Presales – B2B sales/pre-sales in IT/ITeS Industry will also help you graduating from current job to desired profile.
My suggestion is if you are clear about what you want to become then please keep trying. Don’t get disappointed by a few rejection here and there due to your current background. You can even work as intern for start ups to understand the domain and boost your career. As far as a specialized course is concerned, no course is better than having a hands-on experience on the shop floor. You may end up at the same place from where you started after college. So no need to join any course as of now. Rather use that time to find a right opportunity.
Please let me know if you have further questions.
