Yashaswini asked 6 years ago I have done my graduation in B.com with eCom honours. And have done my masters in Tourism Administration. Now that I am done with the masters, I am confused about my career options available to me. I am thinking of pursuing Phd though but I would also like to know the other options that are available to me.

I don’t think going for PhD is a good option for now. You should rather start working on Tours and Travel industry or any other industry of your choice. PhD will not open up any further career opportunity. So even after completing PhD you will have the same questions like ‘What should I do now”. There are several career options based on your education like, Business Development, Financial Profile, Hospitality, Purchase Manager, Teaching etc that you can choose for now.
In future you can do PhD along with your job or anytime in future. The real life work experience will be beneficial in your PhD as well.
