There may be some confusing regarding pursuing two degree programs in India simultaneously. According to this report, http://indiatoday.intoday.in/education/story/ugc/1/575030.html, you can’t pursue two regular degree programs simultaneously. However, this report says that you can pursue two degree programs at the same time, if one of them is a distance learning course.
Thus, if you can do Additional B.A. only through correspondence (as no two regular degrees allowed simultaneously). Also, doing B.A through corresponding will hardly add any value to your skills or employability factor.
Thus, work on your passion, write poetries and literature, learn new skills through online courses, etc. Practice it as much as you can. Your B.Sc. degree will not be prevent you from advancing your career in Literature and writing. Rather, a science degree always help as it shows that the candidate has great analytical skills along with excellent literature skills. Therefore, practice it and do your Masters in whichever field you want. For now B.Sc. is sufficient to develop a career in your area of interest.
