    A short story is a brief work of fiction, usually written in prose and running 1,600 to 20,000 words in length. The literary roots of the short story can be found in oral storytelling traditions, such as anecdotes, fables, fairy tales, and parables.
  • Novellas
    In literature, a novella is a type of prose fiction, which is shorter than full-length novels and longer than short stories. (Usually between 10,000 to 50,000 Words).
  • Novels
    A novel is a relatively long work of narrative fiction, normally written in prose form, and which is typically published as a book. (50,000+ Words)


Non-fiction Writing

 

Non-fiction Writing includes autobiographies, blogs, articles, copywriting. This writing also comprises of certain events that have happened in the past and hold great importance to this day such as World Wars, Recessions, Man landing on the moon for the first time, etc.

 

Some individuals might be more creative and get motivated for fiction writing, whereas others engage in non-fiction writing, where they attempt to explain real events in the most engaging manner.
